General auditions will be held June 25 – 27 at CAT Studios for all four of our dinner theatre productions for 2019-20. Here’s what to expect at the audition:
· Actors will present a 1 – 2 minute monologue. If you don’t have a monologue, you’re welcome to choose from the monologues we’ve provided below. These have been approved by the season’s directors.
· In addition to the monologue actors will read from selected scenes from the productions
Below, you’ll also find the title, playwright and director of the plays, a brief description of each play, their genres, the character breakdowns and age ranges, and the approximate performance dates of each production.
Actors must sign up for a 15-minute audition spot by contacting CAT’s Production Manager, Stuart Old, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stuart will also have scripts for sign-out.
Never auditioned before or want to improve existing skills? Good news! C.A.T. is offering a FREE sign-up, two-part audition prep workshop leading up to the General Auditions, led by Tanya Ryga. Starting June 2nd click here for more info.
